Protecting Motorsport

Motorsport can be dangerous, and despite the organisers of events taking precautions occasionally accidents do happen. Scotland and the UK have a strong heritage of competitive motorsport, and a rich history of champions, events and venues.  Throughout motorsport the backbone of the sport is the orange army of volunteers who provide the officials, and marshals who help organise and run events safely. The Motorsport Voluntary Fire and Rescue Service brings together the emergency responders who react to the incident, provide emergency care, keep motorsport participants safe and events running.
